Just had my couch delivered and I wanted to let everyone know that the delivery guys (Prince & his partner) were amazing.  Prince also delivered my bar a few months ago with also a great experience.  They were able to get the couch through my front door, however with the hallway so narrow we ran into problem.  Prince figured out we could go through the kitchen and then pass the couch through the opening between the kitchen and the dining room (over the kitchen bar and sink).  I cant thank them enough for taking the extra effort and getting the couch to my living room.  Huge Thanks to Prince – he is so friendly and has great problem solving skills.  A great employee for Decorium.

I also wanted to thank Maribeth again for all her help.  I am still amazed she recognized my face (with my face mask on) when I returned back to purchase a couch after she helped me with my bar purchase.  Her assistance in picking the right fabric was also very much appreciated and the constant follow ups while I was waiting for the couch.

I have done renovations from top to bottom in my place over this past year and have had several challenges and very bad customer service along the way. I just wanted to let everyone know that from start to finish all my dealings with Decorium have been great.  Some other companies could definitely learn something about Customer Service from Decorium.

I am writing this letter to commend all of the Decorium personnel involved in my recent purchase of a Stressless chair and ottoman from the Yonge St shop.

Chief among these remarkable persons is Lisba Selbo whose outstanding professionalism, fairness, friendliness and ceaseless efforts to satisfy my inquiries and concerns are chiefly responsible for my ultimate selection and purchase. Ms Selbo is extremely well-informed and this, combined with her expository skills, contributed very substantially indeed to my decision. She exhibits an impressively dedicated commitment to the principle of customer service. In sum, she went to extraordinary lengths to make my decision to purchase, in the end, a relatively easy one. My husband and I both agree that the Yonge St store is in very good hands.

She was much assisted in this respect by her two charming and capable assistants, Tara Lindsay and Emily Shona-Victor. Both proved very friendly, patient (I visited the shop on several occasions before ultimately purchasing), professionally well-informed and consistently cheerful in the face of my initial uncertainties. Each of them took pains to address my many questions and spent considerably more time with me than I might reasonably have expected. I could not have anticipated better customer service than they provided me. They are both to be highly commended as real credits to Decorium.

The happy experience did not end at the shop. The delivery-assembly crew consisting of  Gonzo and his partner were, to put it succinctly, perfectly punctual, polite, prepared and  pleasant. They were a real pleasure to deal with and made the delivery and assembly process totally stress-free from a customer’s point of view.

You will note that I have made repeated reference to the principle of customer service. In an age where it is at a premium, dealing with individuals such as those above is a rewarding experience, and speaks extremely well of Decorium’s  corporate ethos, which they exemplify on a daily basis.

I would like to provide some feedback with respect to the excellent service I had when shopping for my furniture at Decorium.

I started out at the Yonge Street store and was attended to by Victoria.  I then went to your other store on Supertest Road because I wanted to see more selection and was attended to by Renata Biala.  Both women were professional and helpful and worked together cooperatively and I appreciated that as a customer.

But Renata went far beyond in providing me with excellent service.  I ordered an extra shelf for the entertainment furniture which I had bought and it was unclear to me how I was going to mount the shelf.  Renata arranged for the shelf to be installed by your shop person, Danny, I believe his name was, and was persistent in following up.  As well Danny did an excellent job in mounting the shelf.  I am so pleased with my furniture but most of all I am impressed at the outstanding service I received from your staff and have been telling my friends about it.

I just want to say thank you to Marta for the wonderful service!  We purchased the sectional and side tables for our new home, and loving them very much. It took us more than two month to find this couch, and Decorium was our last hope, where we met Marta. Her service was excellent!! She listened to our story very carefully and gave us suggestions, and never rushed us to make a decision. She gave us time to think, also being available for any question and concern. Even after purchase, she regularly update us on our couch order.

I made an appt. with a design consultant to help me with furniture for my living room. The consultant was Adriana. I had brought in some colour swatches and paints,  as well as pictures on my iPad of the style and layout of my living room . Adriana was amazing in helping me pick the occasional chairs and the colours that matched best. She clearly knows what works and spent a great deal of time with me. Dear Kasia No matter how hard everyone tries, there are always times when there may be imperfections in a product, particularly if it is made half way around the world. As it happened, there was an imperfection in the couch we ordered. Decorium set out right away to correct the situation, ordering a replacement component and having a service team come to our home to correct it. it is a great testament when a company stands behind the quality of the product they are selling. Hello Mr. Forberg, The two new Stressless Magic recliners were delivered, and the two Stressless Kensington recliners were picked up, by the Decorium delivery people this afternoon. I have now spent perhaps three hours sitting in one of the Magic recliner and, at least for me, the Magic recliners are much more comfortable than the Kensington recliners. There is no feeling of anything putting pressure on my back. Once again I, and especially my back, thank you and your staff for going the extra mile to turn an unhappy customer into a happy customer. I had a very satisfactory experience with Decorium’s Customer Service Coordinator, Kasia Kerfont. I had brought to her attention a defect issue I was having with a leather accent chair I had purchased almost one year prior. Kasia very promptly escalated my concern with the manufacturer of the chair and within 10 days called me back to let me know that the manufacturer had indeed experienced quality issues with this product in the past. She offered me a re-selection, stating that I could choose another accent chair on my next visit to the store. If it was of lesser value, I would get a store credit. I was very happy with her advocacy on this matter and the quick turnaround time overall. She was also very kind, respectful, empathetic, and appreciative of my business. A blemish on my new server required repair at Decorium’s facility. Although it took some time to come to an agreement whose responsibility it would be to transport the server to your facility, Decorium did the right thing in absorbing the cost. The repair to the finish was done in a short period of time and returned to my home. I was completely satisfied with the quality of the repair.
